Chameleon
In this new video installation, artist Tina Gonsalves explores human emotion, intimacy and vulnerability. Focusing on emotional contagion, she uncovers how we innately and continuously synchronise with the facial expressions, voices and postures of others by unconsciously infecting each other with our emotions. The artist joins us to discuss her work.

Martino Unstrung
A great jazz musician suffers total amnesia, and cannot even recall that he ever played the guitar. In this powerful film, based on the life of jazz legend Pat Martino, we explore the nature of memory, self, creativity and the mysterious brain mechanisms underlying the construction of personal identity. Described as ‘the finest documentary about a jazz musician ever made’, the screening is accompanied by a talk and discussion with award-winning director Ian Knox.
